An integrated Masters programme helps you avoid the hassle of preparing for CAT and avoidance of the uncertainty on not being sure as to where one would get admission for the Masters programme. On the flip side, it hampers your chances of doing well as CAT and securing admission in better ranked institutes. Job opportunities as a function of multiple factors like reputation of institute, companies visiting campus, are of work, internship exposure, performance at the PI & ones academics as well. UGC has also raised objection on such integrated courses, so it is better to avoid such courses.

Hello Sanvi,
It's indeed great to hear from you that you have a great aim of doing your MS in Germany. Just remember 'where there is will, there is way'! Admissions in Germany are not based exclusively on academics but a whole lot of other criteria as well besides different nuances in whole process. In view of this I would like to advise you that please approach an agency dealing with sending students to Germany for MS. This is so since they will be aware of taking care of all the nuances in whole process. Best wishes to you.

Hi Onkar,
The conditions or the admission requirements differ from university to university. On a general front you have to hold an undergraduate degree in mechanical engineering with a good percentage, a first class is preferred. In addition you must take the IELTS an overall band of 6.5 will be required by majority of the colleges. You should see these on the university websites and understand the admission requirements alongwith the deadlines. Most will have a rolling admission system. These are the main conditions, for more you need to check with the universities.
