I would suggest NIT-Agartala over ICFAI for M.Sc in Maths. Not only this is a government college, but also the course fee is way less than ICFAI.

M.Sc is a better course because first of all, you're looking for a degree course and PGD is not a degree course, but Diploma. Also, it is a more detailed course and has better scope.

Even though the two post-graduation courses are at same level there are some differences between them. MCA is a 3 year program where as M.Sc. computer science is a 2-year program. MCA covers the software and its application related field. M.Sc computer science covers the both hardware and software field. A person with strong background in computational and scientific field is only able to opt for this course. Yes, you can surely do Masters in Food and Nutrition as you are meeting the eligibility criteria for the course assuming you have a minimum of 50% marks in Bachelor's degree.

A student can score minimum 55% marks. With a rank of 6700, it is not possible to get Mechanical & ECE in Ramaiah, however, you can get into BMSCE with this rank easily.
Also, if you want, you can wait for COMEDK 2nd round or extended 2nd round for getting admission in MS Ramaiah Institute of Technology.

There are not much chances because they give admission after qualifying entrance exam. So, you cannot get admission there. You should take admission in any other college.

Yes, on the basis of B.Sc zoology you can apply for M.Sc in Home Science (Food and Nutrition). They main difference between the 2 is M.Sc in Food Science allow one to find opportunities mostly in food industry where as Home Science helps one to obtain jobs in wide range of areas.

No placements are not guaranteed but actuarial Science is very demanding. Placement at Christ are decent and start and Spetember/ October.
