Assam University accepts admission in MCom through CUET-PG, for which the candidate should have passed BCom with a minimum of 50% aggregate. Therefore, candidates willing to take admission in MCom at Assam University must take the CUET-PG exam and must prepare well to achieve a good rank because only those applicants whose rank is above the closing rank specified in the merit list released by Assam University will be considered for the counselling round followed by the document verification and fees payment.

Also, 50% of the MCom course seats are reserved for Assam University internal students, i.e., those who have passed the qualifying
