To ascertain which is a better choice, candidates must weigh both options based on important factors, such as fees and ratings. As per official sources, the fees to pursue a BSc at Assam Downtown University and Cotton University range from INR 2.5 lakh-INR 10.4 lakh and INR 4,800-INR 19,300, respectively. In terms of fees, Cotton University is a better choice.

Selection for BSc in Biotechnology, Critical & Intensive Care Technology, Microbiology, Dialysis Technology, and Operation Theatre Technology is based on the TJEE cutoff. The authorities have not released the latest ADTU BSc TJEE cutoff 2024. However, as per the 2022 TJEE cutoff report, the competitive closing rank of BSc in Microbiology stood at 1068 for the General All-India category.
