Assam Don Bosco University (ADBU) is a private state university in Assam. It approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).The University is recognised by UGC, ISO, and IAU while being a member of the IUS, ACU and AIU. At the UG level BCom, BA, BCA, BBA, BTech, etc. are offered. MBA, MTech, MCA, MA, MSc, MCom, etc. are offered at the PG level. PhD courses are also offered by the university. The University offers scholarships like Scholarships based on Economic status, Scholarships on the basis of Disability, etc. Overall, it is a good university.

Both the institutes offer the MBA programme for two-years. Admissions in both universities are based on CAT/MAT/XAT/CMAT scores. The MIT Shillong also accepts state entrance exams. The average salary at AIM is INR 7.4 LPA while MIT placement records are not available. The total fee for MBA at AIM is INR 3.3 Lacs while at MIT Shillong is INR 3.5 lakh. Yes, internships are compulsory and are a part of curriculum. There are total six trimesters in the MBA course at Assam Institute of Management. A summer internship programme is a part of fourth trimester in second year. It is mandatory for all students to complete their internship to complete the course.
