For Abhilashi University's MSc Agriculture courses, applicants must have a BSc or BSc (Hons) in Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, or Sericulture with 50% marks. Selection is on the basis of AUCET or CSKHPKV entrance exam scores. The specialisations in Plant Pathology and Entomology each have 8 seats. Yes, the Andhra Pradesh EAMCET (EAPCET) cutoffs are released separately for the Engineering stream and the Agriculture & Pharmacy stream.
This is because:
- The two streams have different exam subject combinations (Maths for Engineering vs. Biology for Agriculture/Pharmacy).
- They have separate counselling processes and seat allotment lists.
- Colleges offering these courses differ, so their seat availability, competition level, and category-wise last ranks also vary.
As a result, you'll find distinct cut-off rank lists for each stream after every counselling round.

Yes, it is possible to get a seat in a government agricultural university.Generally, you need to have completed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) or Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (PCB) as core subjects, with a minimum aggregate score (usually 50%). Many universities require you to qualify in national-level or state-level entrance exams like ICAR AIEEA, CUET, or state-specific exams such as KEAM, Andhra Pradesh EAMCET, or MP PAT.
