The exact 1st-round OBC cutoff for B.Sc. Agriculture depends heavily on the specific university (such as BHU, TNAU, or an ICAR-affiliated institution), as "College of Agriculture" is a generic name shared by multiple state and central universities. Most major universities evaluate CUET or state entrance scores out of scales like 600 or 750 rather than a flat percentage like 84.01%.

If you are currently pursuing B.Sc. Agriculture, you can plan for an M.Sc. in Agriculture after completing your bachelor's degree. At LPU, M.Sc. Agriculture options include Agronomy, Soil Science, Genetics & Plant Breeding, and Horticulture. Eligibility generally requires 60% in a relevant B.Sc. Agriculture degree

The syllabus covers areas such as crop production, agronomy, soil science, genetics, plant breeding, horticulture, plant pathology, agricultural economics and research. LPU is a strong choice for agriculture studies because of its practical learning, research exposure and specialised programmes.
