The Logical reasoning section carries the maximum weightage; i.e. 50 per cent in the AILET exam. Reasoning is actually a combination of both verbal logic, as well as analytical reasoning. So, one part is full of numbers and data, while the other is made of words and puzzles. Reasoning needs ample practice. Books by MK Pandey and RS Aggarwal will suffice. For Data Interpretation (DI) questions, the trick lies in forming the table. Once this is done, the rest of the questions flow automatically. Hence, the students are advised to prepare this subject carefully and give special attention.

Candidates seeking admission into prominent law colleges in India are well aware of the fact that they have to appear and qualify the entrance exams accepted by the colleges. In India, the National Law Universities (NLUs) are among the top-tiered law colleges to study law and, at present, the total number of NLUs in India is 24. Admission to NLU Delhi is through the All India Law Entrance Test (AILET). If you compare AILET to CLAT, the AILET Exam is much tougher then the latter.

The National Law University Delhi accepts the AILET entrance exam, followed by a counselling round for admission to its BA LLB (Hons) and LLM courses. As per Round 1 of the AILET 2025 cutoff, the closing rank for the BA LLB (Hons) course was 53, which is less than 70. So, if a candidate wants to secure a seat at NLU Delhi, they should target securing a rank up to 50 to improve their chances of getting a call from NLU Delhi for admission. NLU Delhi has released the third provisional merit list for LLM programme on Jun 7. Selected candidates must pay the provisional admission confirmation fee by Jun 14. The counseling for NLU Delhi LLM course has been conducted in three rounds till now. NLU Delhi admissions 2023 to LLM courses is based on AILET scores 2023 followed by AILET Counselling 2023. 

There are no further AILET Counselling 2023 rounds scheduled for both BA LLB (Hons) and LLM courses. Earlier, NLU Delhi had released the second provisional merit list for LLM programme on Jan 30.
