The DY Patil School of Architecture understands the fundamental value of hosting cultural events in higher education. It enables pupils to showcase their abilities and gain wider acclaim. Every academic year, DYPSOA encourages its members to organize similar activities.

Student adoption of numerous abilities occurs as a result of involvement in Cultural Days at DYPSOA. Students gain networking skills through participation in various cultural events. Student effort and dedication are encouraged by organizing and taking part in the cultural events. These cultural events at DYPSOA also help students work cooperatively toward a common objective. This helps kids gain a sense of accountability. These cultural experiences help boost their self-esteem and instruct them in teamwork in a variety of difficult circumstances.

The candidate must have passed the 10+2 examination with Physics, Mathematics, and one of Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biology, Technical Vocational Subject, Computer Science, Information Technology, Informatics Practices, Agriculture, Engineering Graphics, or Business Studies as electives in addition to Physics and Mathematics, which are required subjects. gotten at least 45% in the aforementioned subjects combined (or 40% for candidates in the reserved category). OR, if there are no more openings for lateral entrance, passed the Diploma (in Engineering and Technology) examination with at least 45% (or 40% for students who fall within a reserved category), subject to openings in the First Year.

Sports Complex: The university offers its students a variety of sporting facilities, including as a well-maintained cricket field, a football field, a basketball court, and areas for table tennis, carrom, badminton, and gym activities indoors.An active sports academy plans competitions for inter- and intra-educational sports like cricket, basketball, volleyball, and table tennis, among others.

Canteen: The institution features a sizable eating hall that offers employees and students wholesome meals.

Residence hall: The D Y Patil University is a residential campus. On campus, there are three different buildings with a combined capacity of more than a thousand that provide housing for both boys and girls. The campus contains a restaurant called Legend Café that is professionally run and serves both vegetarian and non-vegetarian fare.
