For admission to the MBA programme at Amity University Punjab is based on the merit of qualifying exams such as CAT, MAT, XAT, GMAT, CMAT, or the Amity Common Admission Test (ACAT) and there is no specific cutoff mentioned anywhere for MBA programs, but it is noted that cutoff can vary each year based on different factors like number of applicants,  difficulty level of the entrance exams and availability of seats in the MBA program.

Generally, Amity University is considered Tier 2 university because Tier 1 category includes top engineering colleges such as the IITs, NITs, and premier private institutions like BITS Pilani. I want you to know that Amity University Punjab generally offers higher salary packages compared to Bahra University as Amity University has a range of companies participating in placements. Amity University has a high placement record particularly in CSE. The highest package offered can reach up to INR 24,00,000 per annum as on other side Bahra University also has a commendable placement record. Top performers were offered around INR 10,00,000 to INR 12,00,000 per annum. I hope you got an idea about both university placements.

You can get admission to Amity University Punjab for B.A. without undergoing the CUET process. Usually, admission is granted as per the marks secured by candidates in their class 12 exams, in which the person has scored good enough; the minimum percentage required usually is about 50%, and this marks are primarily based on their marks in qualifying exams. However, sometimes, there is a requirement of extra entrance tests for entry to particular special programs in the university, but most of the undergraduate degree courses at Amity consider direct admission as an entry process.
