Yes, candidates can apply for admission to the M.Tech course at Amrita School of Engineering, Amritapuri without GATE scores. Because the college also accepts the scores of graduation/ previous academic year for admission to M.Tech courses. The eligible candidates can get admission to M.Tech courses based on merit, followed by an interview process. However, candidates who have secured a valid score in GATE are not required to appear for an interview.

According to the NIRF report 2023, 489 students of M.Tech course were placed out of total 681 students during Amrita Engineering College M.Tech placements 2022. Earlier, in 2021, 162 students of M.Tech batch 2021 were placed in reputed companies. Going back to 2020 placements, 218 students of M.Tech batch 2020 were placed out of total 337 students.

The highest number of seats are allocated to Mechatronics, in Cyber Security Systems and Networks by ASE Amritapuri. The institute does not provide the lowest number of seats to any specialisation, because Mechatronics, Power and Energy Engineering, Wireless Networks and Applications, VLSI Designs and other offers 12 seats in Mtech courses.
