I completed my BCA with a Data Science specialisation at Asian School of Business, so sharing from actual experience.
A lot of colleges have started offering these specializations recently given the demand. My programme covered core CS fundamentals first year, then split into tracks, Data Science, Cybersecurity, AI were all options, I went with Data Science based on where the job market seemed headed.
What mattered most wasn't just having it on paper, but proper lab infrastructure and faculty with real industry experience, not just textbook teaching. Internship support helped too, got real project exposure before placements.

There are many reputed colleges for automobile, mechanical or mechatronics or artificial intelligence where you can get admission without entrance exam.
I am mentioning few of them-

For admission to the University of West London MSc in Artificial Intelligence course, Indian students should have IELTS score of 6.5 or above. In sub section of IELTS, minimum 5.5 is required. Students must have a Bachelor's degree is required (2.2 or above) in Computing or other STEM discipline. The tuition fee for this course is GBP 17,250 or INR 22.2 L.

The two specializations are quite different from each other. Mechanical Engineering deals with building physical systems. AI on the other hand, builds systems reliant on codes. AI offers faster growth and high paying salaries. Mechanical Engineering also offers good salaries but it is more stable.

The total tuition fees of BTech in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science at NMIMS Navi Mumbai is INR 12 lakh. There is one time payment of INR 2,000 which makes the total fee INR 12.01 lakh. The application fee of entrance exam ranges between INR 2,000 - INR 7,000. It depends upon the numbe of school choosen for admisison.
