Annamalai University Eligibility

Annamalai University ME eligibility criteria define the requirements to be fulfilled by candidates seeking admission to the ME programme. As per an official brochure, candidates who have completed a BE/BTech degree in a relevant stream from a recognised university are eligible to apply for the ME programme. Students must also have a valid score in the CEETA PG exam. 

The total tuition fee for BSc ranges from INR 27,500 to INR 55,000, as per an official document. The fee varies as per the specialisation. Other than this, the hostel fees for students opting for hostel facilities range from INR 45,000 to INR 2.25 lakh.

For admission to MBA course of Annamalai University DDE, it is necessary that aspirants meet the prescribed eligibility criteria. Candidates who have passed a bachelor's degree programme of at least three years duration from a recognised university are eligible for admission. Additionally, the AICTE 2024-27 norms for ODL and OL are also considered. The applicants must have the relevant documents with them as a proof of eligibility.

The DDE at Annamalai University offers an AICTE-approved MBA programme. The programme is offered with an option to choose five different specialisations. Students can pursue the programme as a cost-effective way to advance their skills and qualification. The MBA programme at DDE is offered with very low fees. Students who have a graduation degree from a UGC-approved university are eligible to apply for the programme. The admission is granted to the PG course on a merit-basis.

To be eligible for admission to PhD at Annamalai University, a candidate shall have a valid PG or an equivalent degree. The degree must be in the relevant stream of study or specialisation. Additionally, a recognised university or organisation shall have awarded the degree. It is crucial that eligibility criteria are met by an applicant or else the application is treated as invalid. Moreover, candidates must have the relevant documents as well during form filling and admission confirmation for verification purposes.

Annamalai University Chidambaram is a government university therefore the fee for various courses is less. Even if the students find the fee a little high, they can apply for the scholarships provided by the university. Those students whose parent's annual income is not more than INR 2.50 LPA can apply for Post Matric Scholarship for BC/MBC/DNC Students, Higher Education Special Scholarship for SC/ST/SCCC Students and Post Matric Scholarship for SC/ST/SCCC Students.
