Annamalai University ME eligibility criteria define the requirements to be fulfilled by candidates seeking admission to the ME programme. As per an official brochure, candidates who have completed a BE/BTech degree in a relevant stream from a recognised university are eligible to apply for the ME programme. Students must also have a valid score in the CEETA PG exam.

Candidates must have finished their higher secondary education (12th grade or equivalent) with particular topics depending on the course in order to be eligible for Annamalai University's Bachelor of Science (BSc) programs. In general, applicants should have studied and passed pertinent Science courses, such as mathematics, physics, chemistry, or biology, with a minimum percentage that the university has set for particular programs. varying specialisations within the BSc degree may have slightly varying admission requirements. Candidates should also be Indian nationals and fulfil any additional requirements set forth by the university.

The DDE at Annamalai University offers an AICTE-approved MBA programme. The programme is offered with an option to choose five different specialisations. Students can pursue the programme as a cost-effective way to advance their skills and qualification. The MBA programme at DDE is offered with very low fees. Students who have a graduation degree from a UGC-approved university are eligible to apply for the programme. The admission is granted to the PG course on a merit-basis.

Annamalai University Chidambaram is a government university therefore the fee for various courses is less. Even if the students find the fee a little high, they can apply for the scholarships provided by the university. Those students whose parent's annual income is not more than INR 2.50 LPA can apply for Post Matric Scholarship for BC/MBC/DNC Students, Higher Education Special Scholarship for SC/ST/SCCC Students and Post Matric Scholarship for SC/ST/SCCC Students.
