For the APEdCET entrance test, there is no specific qualifying score for the General English section; instead, candidates must achieve a minimum aggregate qualifying score of 25% (which rounds to 38 marks for the general category) of the total marks in the entire exam to be ranked. Candidates from Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) communities do not need to meet this minimum aggregate qualifying mark to be ranked.

No, the Andhra Pradesh EdCET exam syllabus is not based on the 12th class syllabus. Instead, the syllabus is divided into three parts: General English, General Knowledge & Teaching Aptitude, and a chosen Subject-Specific Methodology. The subject-specific methodology questions cover topics from the candidate's undergraduate degree, not their 12th-grade coursework.

The Andhra Pradesh EdCET exam is divided into three sections: General English, General Knowledge & Teaching Aptitude, and Methodology. The exam consists of 150 multiple-choice questions, with each question carrying one mark, for a total of 150 maximum marks.

The APEdCET application form 2025 was released on April 8. Candidates meeting the minimum eligibility crtieria were able to fill in the application till the last date which was May 14. The candiates could submit their application form until June 3, 2025 with the required late fee payment. The APEdCET exam was held on June 5 in online mode.
