It can be a little difficult to choose a preferred course for international students as there are many popular courses at the Ara Institute of Canterbury. Some of the most popular categories are Business and IT, Tourism and Hospitality and last but not the least Healthcare and Biotechnology. 

International students, in general choose courses in these fields at undergraduate and postgradute prorams.

Ara offers admission around the year, i.e. it has rolling admissions for most of the courses. International students can apply for admission months are January, February, May, July, and October. 

You can refer to the application deadlines given below: 

  • Bachelor's Deadline (Feb Start): Jan 22, 2026
  • Bachelor's Deadline (Jul Start): Jun 23, 2026
  • Master's Deadline (Feb Start): Over
