PhD in architecture and planning is offered only at VIT Vellore campus. Candidates who want to apply to architecture and planning must have a bachelor's degree in architecture and planning, followed by a master's degree in architecture/design/planning/building engineering and management or equivalent with a minimum of 60% marks or a CGPA of 6.5 on a 10-point scale. The degree must be completed on a regular or full-time basis.

No, one can not join IDC IIT Bombay without qualifying UCEED for B.Des. The eligibility criteria for getting admission into the college is that one should have passed the qualifying examination (Class XII or equivalent ) from the recognised Board/Examination.

UCEED is an exam of 300 marks. It has 3 sections. It is usually conducted in the January month and the results are declared in February. The examination is an MCQ-based question paper.

Additionally, Candidates must fill out the basic eligibility criteria. The basic eligibility criteria for MUM is a Bachelor's degree with 50% aggregate (45% aggregate for reserved category candidates) in any stream from and Work experience of five years (on the date of application).
