First of all, let me clarify that Chandigarh University Fine Arts students are not subject to any particular, stringent attendance policies or regulations. I understand that attendance must be at least 75%. You will not be permitted to take exams even if you are an excellent student if you have poor attendance. Because they didn't take this seriously, I witnessed a few students struggle. Regular attendance at classes is therefore always preferable. It protects you from last-minute stress and keeps you up to date on assignments, studio sessions, and practical work—all of which are crucial for the fine arts. Because fine arts is more about practice than theory, regular attendance also enhances learning.
