Ideally, students should start preparing the ATMA mock test after they have completed the ATMA syllabus. Since ATMA exam is conducted multiple times in a year, students should start with sectional mock tests. Practicing ATMA mock test is very important for students. ATMA is a time based exam, so, practicing ATMA mock test is important for improving accuracy and speed in solving the acutal ATMA question paper. It also helps students in knowing the gaps in their ATMA preparation and work on them.

As per the official guidelines of AIMS (Association of Indian Management Schools), candidates are allowed to carry the following items to the ATMA (AIMS Test for Management Admissions) exam center:
Printed copy of the ATMA admit card: This is a mandatory document that serves as proof of the candidate's registration and contains important details such as the candidate's name, roll number, exam date and time, test center address, and other instructions. Yes, you can appear for the ATMA (AIMS Test for Management Admissions) exam more than once. In fact, there is no limit on the number of times a candidate can take the ATMA exam. The ATMA exam is conducted multiple times in a year, and candidates can register for any of the available exam dates. The ATMA cutoff will vary across ATMA colleges. Candidates must meet the cutoff of a particular college that they want to apply for. Based on the previous trends, the ATMA cutoff generally ranges from 70 to 95 percentile for different ATMA score accepting institutes.

The medium of ATMA question paper is English. The pattern of the ATMA exam has not changed from the past few years. The latest ATMA question paper pattern is as follows:

  • ATMA exam will be conducted in the CBT test mode. 
  • Duration of the exam is 3 hours.
  • Exam consists of 180 Multiple Choice Questions carrying one mark each.
  • Total marks are 180. 
  • Questions are from three sections, i.e. Analytical Reasoning Skills, Verbal Skills, and Quantitative Skills.
  • There is a negative marking of 0.25 marks for incorrect answers.
