The role of a flight operations officer is to manage the daily running of an aircraft control centre. They also make sure that flights are on time, manage the crew etc. To create flight plans, the flight crew and the flight operations officer collaborate closely. They consider weather information before making alterations to fly paths. Additionally, they are responsible for keeping track of flight times and movement alerts. They inform stakeholders of changes to the flight schedule.

The responsibility of flight operations is to look after flight planning and execution such as weather updates, route planning, and maintaining the safety and security standards of aircraft. These include scheduling, flight planning, flight watch, providing meteorological data, operations control, ground-to-air communications and crew integration, and maintenance planning.

Some of the important skills needed for Flight Operations are good communication skills, excellent writing skills, computer skills, team player, technical skills, knowledge of management systems, etc.

Yes, you can.

Some colleges allow this under extreme conditions, whereas changing the colleges under the same university is much simpler than in comparison with changing the colleges under different universities.
