Applicants may apply for the AFA exam if they have passed their graduation exams. Additionally, they have the option to apply through the twice-yearly CDS test. Through the AFCAT exam, individuals, both male and female, can apply for technical and ground tasks as well. Through the NDA, those who have finished their Class 12 can become members of AFA. The AFCAT exam is administered by the Indian Air Force (IAF) in two shifts: morning and afternoon. The morning shift for AFCAT runs from 9.45 a.m. to 11.45 a.m. AFCAT shift time for the afternoon shift is 2.45 pm to 4.45 pm.
