Admission to this course is merit-based. the first and second year of this course is taught at Chennais Amirta International Aviation College. However, the final year of the course is taught at University College of Aviation Malaysia, which includes six months of classroom education at the university and six months of internship at Malaysian airports.

Applicants may apply for the AFA exam if they have passed their graduation exams. Additionally, they have the option to apply through the twice-yearly CDS test.
