It depends on what candidates mean by an Aviation professional. By far the easier and better job is that of a pilot. If candidates are young (aged 12-18), it is recommended that they pursue a general course of study. Take as many Maths and Science courses as possible. It may appear unusual to study Geography and Geology, but candidates would want to know what they are looking at.

The following are the eligibility requirements for aviation courses after the 12th grade of Aviation colleges in India:

  • In Class 12, the students should have studied PCM  (Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics)
  • minimum cumulative score of 50% in Physics, English, and Mathematics was required for passing.
  • During flying hours, the applicant is required to present a class II medical certificate from a physician certified by the Director-General of Civil Aviation (DGCA).

Note: In the absence of an official update, merit-based eligibility has been mentioned for all the Aviation courses and may vary.
