CoursesEligibility
CertificateCandidate should-
Have an Indian nationality, or hold an Overseas Citizenship of India.
Possess a valid Indian Class II medical certificate / CA Form 35 issued by DGCA Doctor (prior to assessment stage).
Hold a valid DGCA-issued Class 1 medical certificate with no limitations (prior to course induction date).
Be fluent in English both written and verbal
Be in good physical condition with appropriate weight and height.
Self-declaration by candidate that he/she is not under any medication or possess any mental health issues.

The Sha-Shib Aviation Academy (SAA) in Kochi, Kerala offers five courses:-

1). Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (AME): Two-year course with a total fee of ?4 lakh,

2). Airhostess and Hospitality Training: One-year course,

3). Pilot Training,

4). Aeronautical Engineering (AE),

5). BBA in Aviation Management,

The average annual fee for all five courses is ?2,08,000.

Other courses offered by SAA include:-

1. PG Diploma in Aviation,

2. Graduate Certificate in Aviation.

The SAA is a technical institute that offers hands-on practical training on the latest flying machines.

The Sha Shib Aviation Academy, Sha-Shib Group of Institutions, Kochi offers scholarships to students who score 80% and above in class 12th. The scholarship is a 10% fee concession.

The academy also offers other scholarships based on SSAT scores: -

1. Diamond Scholar: 20% scholarship for scores above 85%,

2. Gold Scholar: 15% scholarship for scores above 70%,

3. Silver Scholar: 10% scholarship for scores above 65%,

4. Bronze Scholar: 5% scholarship for scores above 60%.

To pass exams at Sha Shib Aviation Academy, students need to score around 75% in semester.
