The total cost for CPL training abroad usually ranges between Rs 30-40L, depending on the location and the flying school. On top of that, most airlines in India expect the candidate to pay for the type rating, which can cost between Rs 15-25L, depending on the airline and the aircraft. Although loans for the above are available, the banks would most likely ask you for a tangible collateral security against the loan. The collateral can either be a property, FD, gold etc.

This is one of the classic ideas as Aviation is booming in India. Yet, I suggest you if possible do your pilot course abroad. There are 3 ways to become pilot after 12th in India.
1. Join in a DGCA approved flying school and complete your Private Pilot License (PPL) / Commercial Pilot License (CPL) and join as a pilot in an airline.
2. Complete your Bachelors in aeronautical engineering and then go through the above mentioned way.

In India, there are various pilot training Institutions that provide various training courses. The training courses that are offered by the institutions are given here. You can pursue for these trainingcourses after 12th. Training Courses:
Student Pilot License:The duration of this course is six months. Private Pilot License:It is one year duration course. Commercial Pilot License:The duration of this course is three years. Through these training courses, you can only allow to fly as a co-pilot. If you interested to fly as a captain then, you have to need an Airline Transport Pilots License.

Hello,
The following are the items that you need to know to become a pilot:
1. You need to first possess a student pilot license. You must be over 17 years of age and have completed class 12th with Science (Physics and mathematics) with 50%.
2. Your vision in one eye must be perfect. In general medical terminology, it is called 6/6 eyesight. In the other eye, you could have an imperfection of 6/9 which must be correctable to 6/6.
3. General physical fitness is mandatory. You must be free of any disease that can hamper normal function.
