Proficiency in English is essential for becoming an air hostess, as it is the international language of communication in the Aviation industry. Most airlines require their cabin crew to have strong English speaking, reading, and writing skills to interact with passengers from different countries and follow safety protocols.

Additionally, knowing the local language of the airline's base country, such as Hindi for Indian airlines, can be an advantage. Yes, the air hostess job is generally considered safe, as airlines prioritize the safety and well-being of their crew members. Cabin crew undergo rigorous training to handle emergencies, follow safety protocols, and assist passengers during critical situations.

Modern aircraft are equipped with advanced safety features, and regular safety drills ensure that air hostesses are well-prepared for any unforeseen circumstances.

Yes, air hostesses do sleep, but their rest schedules depend on their flight timings and airline policies. During long-haul flights, airlines provide dedicated rest breaks for cabin crew, allowing them to sleep in designated crew rest areas on the aircraft.

However, for short-haul flights, air hostesses may not get rest breaks during the flight and must wait until their shift ends to sleep.

No, Maths is not compulsory to become an airhostess. Most Air Hostess training programs and airline companies require candidates to have completed their 12th standard in any stream—Science, Commerce, or Arts. The primary focus is on communication skills, personality development, grooming, and customer service. While basic arithmetic skills are useful for tasks like currency handling during flights, advanced mathematics is not a requirement.

Yes, 12th marks do play a role in becoming an air hostess, as most reputed air hostess training institutes require candidates to have completed their 12th-standard education. Cost : An MBA in Aviation in Germany can cost about €10,000-€30,000 per annum. The entrance process generally mandates a Bachelor's degree in related fields such as business, aviation, etc., and GMAT/GRE (if required) scores, and English proficiency tests (TOEFL/IELTS), the statement of purpose, and the letters of recommendation. Some of the universities do demand relevant experience in the sector. You can apply either directly at the university's portal or through centralized systems like UniAssist. Always check the entry requirements in specific for each university.

To become an air hostess with high pay, you can look for a Diploma or Degree in Aviation or Hospitality Management from a reputed institution. Try to find courses with Cabin Crew Training or Airline and Airport Management, that will specifically train you with the skills required in aviation.
