The Aircraft Maintenance Engineering course trains students in the operation and maintenance of Air-crafts and Helicopters in terms of Structures, Systems and Engines. The students learn how to use the engine trend analysis for the planning of periodic inspection and maintenance of various components in such a way as to reduce downtime of flying vehicles, simulation and validation through Engine testing at various laboratories using the software, such as, MATLAB SIMULINK and LABVIEW. After completing the course the engineers will be familiar with Civil Aviation regulations of Light and Heavy Aircraft category as well as the relevant maintenance procedures for Aircrafts and Helicopters.
Eligibility Criteria:
The candidates must have passed their Bachelors in Aeronautical Engineering / Mechanical Engineering with first class or its equivalent.

Eligibility for Air Hostess:
-Physical requirements - Height for Air Hostesses - minimum of 157.5 cm and Flight Pursers 163 cm with proportionate weight.
-Graduates is a compulsion for international airlines in the age group of 19-25 years for training. Preference is given to Degree or Diploma holders in Hotel Management/Tourism.
-Female candidates from Home Science background, fulfilling other requirements, are also preferred. International Airlines recruit flight attendant in the age group of 18-35 years.
-Good language, ability and proficiency in English, Hindi, a regional language and at least one foreign language are essential requirements for inflight crew members working for National or International carriers.
-Normal eyesight without glasses or a minimum uncorrected distant vision of 6/40 is acceptable.

Like all engineers, aircraft engineers apply scientific and mathematical concepts to solve commercial and practical problems. They are types of aerospace or aeronautical engineers who design, test, maintain and supervise the making of air-crafts. They may specialise in structural design, navigation, instrumentation or communications. These workers may also examine different types of aircraft, such as commercial jets, military fighters or helicopters. Some engineers are responsible for going over new project proposals and determining if they are physically and financially feasible.
