After 12th, you can get a job at the airport if you have done some courses in hospitality services. Airlines hire many youngsters for their peripheral work at the airport. You will have to look for the ads or contact HR of these companies.

Maybe because I am from IAF and had worked in avionics, I feel this is the most challenging and exciting field. Your imagination, resourcefulness, and expertise all are required at the same time. If you are getting a chance, don't let it go.

Now a days, a pilot is getting paid on flying hours. As an average salary, they get around 2 lacs per month and Captain can earn around 4 lacs for a month.

1. Indian Airlines scholarships
Two scholarships of Rs 4,00,000, each given on merit-cum-means basis per batch.
2. Air India scholarships
Two scholarships of Rs 4,00,000, each given on merit-cum-means basis per batch.
3. Rajiv Gandhi Foundation
For two women pilots on merit-cum-means to the extent of Rs 3,00,000 each per batch.
4. Scholarships for SC/ST candidates
Rs 2,00,000 on training fee.
Additional Rs 2,00,000 by IGRUA to three SC/ST candidates per batch by selection on merit cum means basis.
