There are a variety of jobs available in the aviation field:
1) If you want to work in manufacturing companies then u need to do a Master's degree.
2) If you want to work as a maintenance engineer then you need to complete the AME course.
3) If you want to go for designing then you need to go for interviews after completing your degree.
4) If you want to be an officer/engineer at the airport then you need to write the AAI exam.
5) If you want to be a customs officer/DGCA Officer then you need to take civil services examination.
6) You can do some airport management course also.
7) If you want to be a pilot then join a flying school (which is of good reputation).
8) There are jobs in Indian Air Force also you need to write AFCAT exam.
These are the various types of career scope in the Aviation field. Now it's your turn to choose what you want to become. The main thing here is most of the big companies (Boeing, Airbus) won't ask for freshers they need experienced candidates. So, if u want to work outside the government then try to get as much as experience possible. After gaining the experience, you can apply for higher posts. You can directly opt for a government job after completing B.Tech.

In order to become a commercial pilot, you must have completed your class 12th under the 10+2 system or its equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in mathematics and physics.
Training in commercial flying can be taken with flying clubs, The Rashtriya Udan Academy and private flying academies.
The training goes through 3 stages of license. The licenses have to be procured in the following order:
1. Student Pilot License.
2. Private Pilot License.
3. Commercial Pilot License.
I. After completing class 11th and 12th with PCM, you can apply for the SPL.
II. After completing class 12th with PCM, you can enroll for the next license.
III. On getting PPL, training begins for CPL.
Details of the licenses:
1. Student pilot license can be taken at flying clubs in every State. It is a theory exam.
Eligibility: Age of 16 years minimum and pass in class 10th. A medical certificate of fitness, security clearance and a bank guarantee is required.
Selection: Candidates taking SPL test have to appear in an oral examination on a fixed day every month. A candidate have to enroll a month before the examination. The selected candidates need to go through a medical test and the pilot aptitude test.
2. Private pilot license is a practical training. A total of 60 hours of flying is needed of which 20 hours minimum should be solo and 5 hours cross country. There is a theory examination also.
3. Commercial pilot license requires flying training for 190 hours to complete 250 hours of flying.
