Dear Abhishek,
Aeronautical engineering deals with design and development. We were basically exposed to aircraft. Outside the realm of the atmosphere is basically known as astronautical engineering. Aerospace engineering in IIT-Madras combines both aeronautical engineering and astronautical engineering because the dynamics of operating an aircraft in outer space is completely different from that in the atmosphere.
Electronics in aviation is avionics. It is the job of an avionics engineer to design systems to navigate from point A to point B or in case of a missile it is to design guidance control systems to see that the missile reaches

Flying pilot is an excellent career option. There is a general shortage of trained and experienced pilots worldwide. A majority of pilots requirement is in Asia Pacific region. Commercial pilots are paid one of the best salaries in India with other perks.

There are various courses available in aviation field. You can apply for Pilot Training, Air Hostess Training, Aircraft Maintenance Engineering, Aviation Management etc. It depends on your interest what career you want to pursue. Apart from this you can get a ground staff jobs also after your graduation.

You can obtain Commercial Pilot license (CPL) by joining a flying training Institute approved by DGCA provided you had subjects of Physics, Chemistry and Maths in 10+2 stage. You can also join Indian Air Force in Flying branch after graduation degree by appearing in CDS.

There are many other courses available and the best one is that which matches with your skills and interest. Ideally, Pilots earn the best. You can go for aircraft maintenance too. Apart from these, B.Sc Aviation course covers topics such as Air Regulations, Navigation, Meteorology, Aircraft and Engine, Air Traffic Control, Aviation Security, Flight Safety and Crew Management. After pursuing this course, successful candidates may take up jobs such as Air Traffic Controller, Ground operations staff, Cargo management staff, Ticketing staff, etc.
BBA airport Management is also possible.

After completing B.Tech in aeronautical engineering, you will meet the eligibility criteria for obtaining commercial pilot license. You are advised to join any DGCA Flying Training Institute to learn flying and obtain CPL. You are also eligible to join Indian Air Force Flying branch as a pilot.

Yes, it is a good college and the faculties are decent. Moreover, you will get good placements. You can also check other colleges like:
1. IIAE – Pune.

Even if you complete aeronautical engineering degree, you will still need to obtain CPL, if you wish to fly planes.
