I think veterinary is better than BAMS as a vet has to do lots of things, even surgeries and an ayurvedic doctor only plays with medicines. Moreover, the studies of Ayurveda is quite complex as compared to vet and nowadays more and more people prefer keeping pets for relief from depression which has an edge for veterinary doctors.

Ayurvedic medicine is gaining popularity all over the world because of its curing ability and the medicines no side effects. It is also known to promote positive health, longevity and beauty. There are suitable job options for Ayurveda practitioners in research, academic, clinical practice, drug manufacturing, etc.
After completing BAMS course, one can get a job in government or private sector as:
1. Central Government Jobs:

It is good but I may suggest that take admission for MBBS as you have qualified NEET for private colleges or take admission in BVSc (Bachelor in veterinary science). It has better scope than BAMS.

MBBS is a professional course especially where the profession involves working hard to pay the price of saving a life so distance course is a myth.
