Hi.

BDS seats are very limited in government colleges across India.

For General category, cut-offs in government colleges are generally very high:

Top government colleges (like Maulana Azad, Delhi, Mumbai, etc.) usually require NEET scores ≥ 600–650.

Mid-tier state government colleges cut-offs: 450–550 (may vary by state and category).

370 is unlikely to secure a BDS seat in any government college for General category.

However, private dental colleges or Deemed Universities may have seats available at your score.

Hi.

The future scope of doing a BAMS (Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery) course — at a place like SGT University (or elsewhere) — is reasonably broad and multi-dimensional, especially if you leverage it well.

Hi.

According to my analysis with 126 marks in NEET, it's very unlikely you'll get a seat in a decent BAMS (Ayurveda) college under normal quota — here's why, and what your (very limited) options are.

  • The minimum NEET qualifying range for BAMS (for many categories) in 2025 was around 113–144 marks depending on category.

  • So technically, 126 marks qualifies you (i.e. you clear NEET eligibility).

  • But clearing eligibility ≠ getting an admission seat — actual admissions require much higher marks, especially in recognised government or good private BAMS colleges.

To enrol in a BAMS course at The Indian Institute of Ayurvedic Medicine and Research, candidates must meet the eligibility criteria set by the institute. The institute offers full-time BAMS courses lasting sixty-six months. Students are selected based on entrance exam. In addition to the selection criteria, students must pass Class 12 (common eligibility).

The fee range for the BAMS programme at Indian Institute of Ayurvedic Medicine and Research is INR 2.7 lakh. The fee structure is sourced from unofficial sources, hence indicative. The fee covers various academic expenses like tuition fees, laboratory charges, examination fees, library fees, and other relevant charges. It is important to note that the fee structure is subject to change, and candidates are advised to refer to the official website of the university for the latest and most accurate fee structure.

For admission to the BAMS course at the Indian Institute of Ayurvedic Medicine and Research, students need to fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria in the first place. The selection criteria for this course are entrance-based, and candidates must pass Class 12 with a minimum 50% aggregate. Candidates who have not completed Class 12 with a 50% aggregate are not eligible for admission.
