I would suggest you to start searching for colleges as fast as possible, first track down top colleges in the country and then think about how much you can offord and some institutions would ask you to write exams or would take you in based on your intermediate marks

If you want to continue your 2nd year with different subject that is not possible with present education system. You have to study different subject from the beginning that is from 1st year.
