According to my views and experience, BA Political Science Honours can be done by any student whether the student is from the Science side from the commerce side. Yes, the B.Com degree which is obtained from Yashwantrao Chavan Maharashtra Open University is valid to apply for all government jobs. The YCMOU is recognised by Government of Maharashtra and University Grants Commission (UGC). Since, the university is recognised, your degree is valid to apply for government jobs.
