You have already answered your question I believe. If your interest lies in management then no doubt you got to go with B.Com. Usually, people get confused between BBA and B.Com. You might as well think of BBA too. Management is everywhere. Be more specific in telling what you really want. I believe by merit seat you refer to class 12th marks based admission. In such case, you need to apply for the requisite university having that criterion in the admission form. You will be called for admission as per the applicants applying and meeting their criteria. Adding your college or university, you are aspiring to would have been much better to answer.

Yes, it is accepted. To pursue LLB, you just require a Bachelor's degree, it could be of any stream and of any university (includes open universities).

It depends from person to person. If you want a career in Corporates or Management then doing Bcom is the right choice and if you want to study law, or do anything as an art student then opt for BA honours. Clearly it totally depends on your career choice.
