Candidates must have scored at least 60% marks at 10+2 level and 50% for admission to B.Arch. Physics and mathematics are compulsory subjects at 10+2 level. Students can register for counselling before July 2 at the JAC official portal. The fee for registration is INR 1400.

Architecture is really an interesting field. Post this, you can attain Masters in Urban Design, Urban Planning, Landscape Architecture, Construction Management, Town Planning, Environment Planning. Even doing law is a better option or real estate management. If you do not want to go with Masters, then before you think of pursuing architecture practice, I will advise to have a job experience of at least 3-4 years to understand the other fields associated with construction such as Electrical Design, Heating Ventilation & Air Conditioning; Plumbing; Firefighting, etc. This will help you in designing with a holistic approach.
