SRM TRP Engineering College offer both BE and BTech courses. The slight difference in the two courses is that one is more of theory based while the other focuses on practicals. This college further offer BE across five specialisations and BTech in one specialisation. Admission to the courses is as per the norms of AICTE, Anna University, and the Government of Tamil Nadu.

As per the official website, there is no need to send the documents. A declaration is provided by the authorities to the candidates that if they provide any wrong or inaccurate information in Online Registration Application form, they will be responsible for further legal or other consequences.

The number of seats available for admission varies from one BE specialisation to another. In the below table, seat intake for some of the SJCE Mysore BE specialisations is mentioned:

While filling the Assam PAT counselling, candidates have to upload a document of their proof of birth/age. The documents that will be accepted as the proof of birth/age are - Birth certificate, HSLC/TSLC Pass Certificate or HSLC/TSLC Admit Card.
