In today's world many opportunities of opening of for professionals from this field. Admission for engineering in this branch or any other branches follows exactly the same procedure. If your intended college admits students based on policy of the state, then you will have to appear for the examination assigned by your state. If it's CFTI then you may have to appear for JEE Mains and JEE Advanced. The very first basic difference between both the courses are B.Sc. IT is the duration of three years. Whereas, B.E (IT) is an engineering degree and the duration of 4 years. B.Sc. Information Technology course is a technical programme designed specifically to meet the current industry requirements with limited courses. Job opportunities are limited but definitely better than the traditional graduate programme. However, Bachelor of Engineering (B.E. ). In IT is a combination of software programming, hardware administration, software administration, networking and network security with vast knowledge of the subject. There are huge job opportunities after doing this programme with better salary package compared to B.Sc. IT. So both the courses have different aspects from the industry and careers points of view. Both having different syllabus and applications except few common courses in these two.

Hello Sugar, it's very nice to hear from you that in smile of the four year break you are still interested in continuing your studies that you left in the year 2016. Normally speaking all universities give definite time for completion of 4 years course and I feel that you are still within this time limit. You need to approach the college from where you left in 2016 and seek admission in that college for the final year. You will perhaps have to give examination of the course currently being taught by the University through this college. College mein seek explanation as to why it took you 4 years for re-entering. But I suppose you will definitely have valid reasons for suspension of your studies for 4 years. Best wishes to you.
