To get selected for the B.E./B.Tech course at BTIRT, students must pass their 10+2 exams with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects. General category students need at least 45% marks, while reserved category students from Madhya Pradesh need 40%. They also have to appear for an entrance exam like JEE Main. Admission is given through a counseling process based on their exam rank and seat availability. Students with a relevant Diploma can also join directly in the second year if they meet the same marks criteria and seats are available.
