The criteria for choosing into the QIS College of Engineering & Technology B.E./B.Tech course are mainly based on:
Eligibility: A candidate should have PCM or its equivalent passed from any reputed board at Class 12 examination.
Admission Examinations Admissions are primarily made through entrance examinations consisting of:
EAMCET is the engineering-agricultural and medical common entrance test for the students of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
Other national or state-level entrance exams may also be taken into consideration.
Merit-Based Selection: The final selection is based on the marks obtained in the entrance examinations, along with the candidate's performance at earlier qualifications.

The following are the required documents during the process of applying for B.Tech at Hirasugar Institute of Technology:-

1. General documents:- 10th, 12th marksheet, TC, migration, character certificate, I'd proof (aadhar/voter id) and passport size photographs. 
2. Entrance exam score cards:- KCET/COMEDK UGET scorecard. 
3. Reservation Category (if applicable) :-Cast certificate, income certificate, disability certificate, kannada medium certificate.

Admission is strictly based on entrance tests only; usual entrance tests are MHT CET (Maharashtra Common Entrance Test) and JEE Main.  After clearing the entrance exam, candidates may be called to attend the central counseling process. Selection into Proudhadevaraya Institute of Technology is mainly on the basis of Karnataka CET/COMEDK entrance examination whereas the candidate needs to fulfill the eligibility criteria, which includes having passed 10+2 with physics, chemistry, and mathematics from a recognised university/boards. As per the performance in the entrance exam, they can join counseling to get into their desired college. Apart from this, the direct admission facility would also be available in the management quota. They can apply directly to the college. B.E./B.Tech Eligibility criteria in Proudhadevaraya Institute of Technology (PDIT) have been stated as follows

Qualification - All the candidates should have passed in 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and mathematics as core subjects with at least 45% of marks aggregate (40% for SC/ST/OBC candidate).

Entrance Test: On the basis of the admission process, the candidate should qualify in Karnataka CET (KCET) or COMEDK test. Otherwise, Direct Admission is possible through management quota seats.

Age Limit: Age is not a criterion of the age, but candidates should meet the qualification criteria based on the guidelines of the respective entrance exam.
