Candidates must passed their 10+2 with physics and mathematics assignment compulsory subjects.
A minimum 45% in the qualifing exam is compulsory.
Candidates belonging to (SC/ST) may be eligible with 40%.
Candidates needs to give JEE MAINS exam and they can get admission through HSTES counselling

The TNEA (Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions) counselling process for getting admission into Kingston Engineering College is soley based on merit, which is determined by class 12 marks and there is no separate exam for the admission process. The TNEA 2025 rank list was released on June 27, 2025. The General Counselling Round 1 choice filling took place from July 14 to 16, 2025, while Choice Filling Round 3, designated for specific rank holders, is scheduled from August 7 to 9, 2025.

To be eligible for admission to BE/BTech course at Kingston Engineering College, the candidate has to score a minimum of 45% aggregate in class 12 in a relevant stream from any recognised board. Eligible students will have to appear for the TNEA counseling process and score valid marks to be eligible for the course. Direct admissions can also be provided for management quota seats. To take admission through counseling, apply for counseling at the official website of the conducting body, and choose this college in the choice filling. Eligible students will have to appear for the TNEA counseling and score a valid rank to be eligible for the course.
