The syllabus of the WBJEE entrance exam is very similar to the Class 12 board exam syllabus for the PCM stream. The WBJEE entrance exam is mostly comprised of the 3 main subjects which are Mathematics, Chemistry and Physics. Hence, candidates are advised to prepare the aforementioned subjects with all the topics that are covered in the Class 12 PCM syllabus for these subjects.

Yes, all students of the BE courses at Jadavpur University are required to pursue internships during their course curriculum. Several BE specialisation courses also require candidates to pursue a capstone project in the final year of their BE course for graduation. Candidates will receive breaks in between their curriculum to pursue the necessary internships.

Students wishing to enrol in the institute need to have completed Class 12 with a minimum aggregate of 45% (40% for SC/ST/OBC students from Karnataka). The admission into CIET Chandigarh for the BE + MBA course is done through JEE Mains conducted by the centre; the candidate would have to fill out an application for the same and also appear for the exam and clear it. Further, they must also take part in the counselling process, which is held at the college level by CIET.
