The reputation of the college may affect the range. College with high reputation will have higher range.You cannot get admission into college through JEE main exam. You need to separately write exam or you should be your state topper in 12th boards to get direct admission. Even if you are taking admission through JEE main result you need to have a percentile of about 98-99.

National Fire Service College was established in 1955, in Nagpur, Mumbai. The college is popular college for its B.Tech in Fire Engineering course. The college accepts JEE Mains Score.
For General Category: 90 percentile or 1 Lakh rank is required
For OBC Category: appx 2 Lakh is required.
The fee for the course is INR 96,000. It is a 4-year course offered to 60 deserving candidates. Yes, as per the eligibility criteria of the Haryana NEET PG counselling process, it is mandatory to qualify for the NEET PG or NEET MDS entrance exams. Apart from that, candidates must fulfill other eligibility criteria stated by the counselling authorities of Haryana NEET PG, in terms of the internship cutoff date, state domicile, etc.

BITS Goa offers direct admission under 'Direct admission to Board toppers' scheme. The institute offers direct admission to those students who are toppers from the Science stream having taken Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics or Physics, Chemistry, Biology subjects in 12th standard. The toppers will be selected based on multiple factors. Candidates willing to apply directly musy qualifiy those factors.
