YCMOU Nashik admissions are primarily merit-based. The university offers more than 50 UG, PG, doctorate, diploma, and certificate programmes across multiple streams (in the distance education mode) via the eight schools. Yashwantrao Chavan Maharashtra Open University (YCMOU) admission is completely online.

Eligibility Criteria

• Undergraduate Degree with 45% aggregate
• Accepting Exams: MAH CET, APICET

For Maharashtra State Candidates :- Candidates completed graduation/post graduation with Science and Mathematics/Social Science/Humanity Science/Commerce from any recognised institute/university are eligible to apply.

Candidates of Reserved category with 45% marks are eligible to apply. OR

Candidates completed graduation/post graduation with 55% marks in Engineering and Technology/Management/ Computer Science/Law/Information Technology/Agriculture/Bachelor of Banking & Insurance/Medical Sciences/All Social Science/Fine ART/Performing ART from any recognised institute/university are eligible to apply.

However, what you generally need to do is complete your graduation before joining the B.Ed. course and at least submit your graduation certificates while applying. Here are a few maybes on how to do this:

1. Conditional Admission: Some colleges or universities may grant conditional admissions based on graduation certificates arriving later. This would require you to show proof of having passed out along with original certificates once those become available (for example, a provisional certificate, mark sheet, or letter from the university that confirms you have passed out). Check your specific B.Ed. college for how lenient they are with this.

2. Provisional Certificate: If you have graduated but the university hasn't yet given you an official certificate, you might submit an application with a provisional certificate from the university to the colleges for admissions. Most institutions will still consider these kinds of certificates for qualifications.

3. Current Graduation Process: If your final graduation year is underway and you are awaiting the final certificate, apply for the B.Ed. course based on your current procedure, if the college allows current final-year students to apply. Once again, the present status must be put forth, and the final certificate may be demanded at the time of joining.

4. Special Cases: Some colleges would admit a candidate without all certificates but are subject to special grounds like pending university exams or delay in receipts of certificates. You may check with the college about such provisions. 

You should, however, inquire with the colleges or universities of your interest about what exactly they require. They might accommodate your case, too.
