While particular amounts may change from year to year, recent estimates imply that total annual fees can range between INR 50,000 and INR 70,000. You should be a graduate student with 50% aggregate marks and selection criteria would be based upon the score of UP BEd JEE.

The UP BEd JEE is a state-level B.Ed entrance examination. The purpose of this exam is to shortlist candidates for BEd courses offered by the government universities and colleges in the state of Uttar Pradesh.

Yes, as B.Ed is a practical based course. So there are assignments & practical in both distance & regular mode. I would suggest that instead of choosing outside the state, choose your local area or nearby state. As your intention is not to get the degree but to remain in the education field. So, whenever you choose the local area you can teach practices in the local area so that whenever you will apply for job or selected it will be easy for you. Rather than getting a degree.

No, they are not equivalent. While, students can pursue B.Ed only after graduation,  DElEd can be pursued only after Class 12th. Therefore D.El.Ed is a beginner course whereas B.Ed is a specialised course in terms of the learning experience. D.El.Ed is an introductory course which gives lesser knowledge into the field of education as compared to B.Ed. Moreover, It is a Diploma course whereas B.Ed is a Bachelor's level course, therefore providing wider knowledge in Education.

No, unfortunately, an M.Ed. after B.Sc. and B.Ed. does not qualify you for PGT positions in most cases. For PGT, you typically need a postgraduate degree in the specific subject you want to teach, in addition to a B.Ed.

However, you might be eligible for TGT (Trained Graduate Teacher) positions with your B.Sc. and B.Ed. This role involves teaching secondary level subjects related to your B.Sc. degree.

In India, the possibility of a PhD holder without a B.Ed/M.Ed securing a high-school teacher job is complex and depends on several factors:

Challenges:

  • Mandatory requirements: Most government and private schools in India mandate a B.Ed/M.Ed degree as a minimum qualification for high-school teachers. This requirement stems from a focus on ensuring teachers possess both subject knowledge and pedagogical skills.
  • Teacher Eligibility Tests (TETs): Centralized Teacher Eligibility Tests (CTET) and State Level Teacher Eligibility Tests (STET) are mandatory for government school teacher positions. While PhD holde
