No, candidates having a degree in Bachelors of Education (BEd) cannot apply for the DSSSB PRT 2024 exam. A recent verdict by the Supreme Court declared that only holders of DEIEd certificates are eligible to become primary-grade teachers. Now, the candidates holding the BEd degree will not be allowed to appear for the primary teacher recruitment exam in Delhi Government Schools. However, the candidates having a degree of BTC/DElEd along with the BEd degree will remain eligible for the DSSSB Primary Teacher recruitment exam.
