B.Ed eligibility cut-off requires around 50%. You can approach private colleges or state universities with less stringent norms-some admit candidates even with around 45-50% on the basis of the entrance test scores (say, UP B.Ed JEE).

You can also improve your percentage by reappearing for the UG exams through the improvement scheme by your university, if available to do so. Open universities like IGNOU may also offer B.Ed with a less cut-off (about 45%) for working persons.

Those aspiring to get admission into B.Ed through distance education, can apply to institutes which have been recognised to offer B.Ed programmes through distance learning education, such as IGNOU.

Candidate should have attained a Bachelor degree with 50% marks and two years teaching experience (in some institutes). Access the site ignou.ac.in, register online within the provided admission period (January or July), fill the form with identification proof and degree certificates. Yes, you can pursue B.Ed course via online/correspondence program, but the university should be approved by UGC. As per the latest notification, all the online/correspondence programs are considered the same as the regular program, so there isn't any problem while pursuing B.Ed online.
