Chandigarh University offers B.A. Psychology for students after 12th with 55% marks or above. For admission, the university provides a pathway through CUCET. This is an entrance test that also gives scholarships based on performance. Students who score well can reduce their fee according to the scholarship slab. The test is not only a way to secure financial aid but also a method to assess academic readiness. However, admission without CUCET is also possible by meeting eligibility rules, but such students may not get the scholarship advantage. In short, the entrance test at CU is more linked with scholarship opportunities, while the ba

No, an entrance test is not mandatory to secure admission in Industrial Design at Chandigarh University. If you meet the basic eligibility criteria of scoring at least 50% in your 12th (or diploma), you can apply directly. However, the university strongly encourages students to appear for its entrance exam, CUCET, because it opens the door to scholarships that can cover a significant part of the tuition fee. CUCET isn't a tough exam like national-level design tests; instead, it evaluates simple logical reasoning, creativity, and general aptitude. You can book IELTS slot in India any time in the year. But in some months, many students book fast. The peak season is usually in November-December, February-March, and August.

If you want your preferred date and test center, you should book IELTS 2-3 months early. This way you don't miss your seat.
