For nursing, it is compulsory that a particular student should complete class 12th with physics, chemistry, biology and English. So, a non-med student can't pursue nursing.

B.Sc in CS is preferable over B.Sc.in IT. If you want to build your career in IT domain better you go for BCA as Indian IT industry prefers BCA as it is a professional degree.
