No, candidates cannot apply for BSc admission at Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra. BITCHEM written exam is already over for academic year 2026. Currently, interview rounds are still ongoing for BSc admissions. Thus, fresh applications are no longer being accepted by BIT Mesra.

Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra BSc course is not open for direct admission. Candidates need to appear in BITCHEM along with its following interview round to qualify for admissions. However, candidates with a valid score in JEE Main are eligible for skipping BITCHEM for BSc admission.

Candidates who are interested in BSc in Chemistry course at BIT Mesra need to clear Class 12 board exams in PCM or PCB stream with a minimum aggregate of 60%. If candidates are recognised under SC/ST/PwD category, they are eligible even with a 50% aggregate. Eligibility criteria for BSc in CS is currently unknown.
