Eligibility Criteria:

Students appearing for their 12th board exams in 2024, including first and second droppers, are eligible. The minimum percentage required in the class 12 board exams is 55% for SC, ST, or PWD candidates and 60% for all other categories. Candidate must secure a position in the NEST 2024 merit list. The first step involves an open call by the institute, followed by shortlisting based on the eligibility criteria of the respective schools and/or scores in the national examinations such as CSIR-UGC-NET/ GATE/ JEST/ GPAT/ DBT/ ICMR/ JGEEBILS. Minimum Percentage Requirement-

A minimum aggregate of 60% marks (or equivalent grade) in the Class XII examination is mandatory for eligibility. For candidates belonging to the Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), and Divyangjan categories, the minimum requirement is relaxed to 55%.

Nursing programmes offered by the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi, including BSc (Hons.) Nursing and BSc Nursing (Post-Basic). On March 12, 2024, the AIIMS BSc Nursing 2024 final registration and code generating process got underway. On March 5, 2024 (basic registration), the AIIMS BSc Nursing 2024 application procedure for the academic session 2024–25 opened. The basic registration period ended on April 26, 2024, at 5 PM. Concurrently, April 30, 2024 (up to 5 PM) was the deadline for final registration and code production for the AIIMS BSc Nursing exam. AIIMS will conduct AIIMS BSc Nursing (Hons.) on June 8 and 9, 2024 and BSc (post basic) exam on July 6, 2024 in online mode. 

Candidates seeking admission to SOT PDEU BSc course are required to meet the minimum eligibility criteria. Candidates who have passed any of the following qualifying examinations with English as one of the subjects can get admission to the BSc programme as mentioned below:

• Class 12 examination from any recognised Board of Secondary Education and Council for Indian School Certificate Examination
• Final examination of the two-year course of the Joint Services Wing of the National Defense Academy
• General Certificate Education examination (London/ Cambridge/ Sri Lanka) at the Advanced level with minimum passes of two/ three subjects
• International Baccalaureate Diploma programme with the minimum passes of six subjects with 24 points
• HSC Vocational examination
• Intermediate Science or two-year Pre-University examination
• High School Certificate examinations of Cambridge University
• Senior Secondary School examination conducted by the National Open School with a minimum of five subjects

The acronym MU BAAT represents "Manipal University Biometric Attendance and Tracking." The MU BAAT attendance tracking system was created by Manipal University to track instructors' and students' attendance using biometric technologies. Using biometric identification methods such as fingerprint or iris scanning, the system accurately logs people's entry and exit timings in a range of university buildings, including labs, administrative offices, and classrooms. Increased accountability, less manual error rates, more campus security, and more efficient attendance tracking are all benefits of MU BAAT. By implementing this strategy, Manipal University seeks to improve academic performance, promote timeliness, and maintain transparency in its attendance tracking protocols across all of its campuses.
